Craigslist gets 50 billion page views per month. WOW. That translates to 60 million people visiting the site in the US alone each month. Talk about traffic!
These high traffic counts make Craigslist such a powerful tool. When this many people visit a site each month, you are bound to find someone to purchase your old couch or find that great deal on concert tickets you've been searching for. I mean c'mon, each month there are 80 million classifieds posted to the site!
These big numbers are truly impressive, but they do not mean Craigslist is the perfect tool to find office space. Craigslist is a jack-of-all-trades site and wasn't specifically built for office rentals, so there are significant limitations to its functionality.
We've outlined six inefficiencies of Craigslist below compared to the simple, flexible platform we've built at Kinglet.
Click through a text driven search list and maybe see a photo or two of some office space.
Browse through every available office space. View photos, descriptions, and straight-forward pricing for every space.
Is this office space actually available? Who is this person I'm about to email? Help…
We curate each of our listings and vet every host before they can list on our site.
Send out numerous emails to a bunch of addresses that look like this: email@example.com
Instant, seamless communication online - request to tour, submit an application, or hop on the phone and give us a call.
Do I need to negotiate the price? Are utilities included? What is CAM? How do I get WiFi setup?
Our pricing is clear and transparent. No need to negotiate. All utilities are included in your monthly payment.
Do I need a lawyer to review what I'm about to sign? Am I committing to something I can't afford? What is a personal guarantee? Help!
All renters enter into a standard License Agreement that is only 5 pages long. Rentals are for 30-day terms and auto-renew on the first of each month. It really is that simple.
Wow, I didn't realize how expensive office furniture is. Ikea? Yes, I would love to spend 6 hours of my day putting a desk together.
All of our offices are furnished and ready to move-in. Show up on the first day and get to work.
In short, Craigslist is a powerful tool, its just not what you should be using to list and find office space. Head over to Kinglet.biz to find your next office.
